Man Hit By Trash Truck In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - It was a terrible start to the day for man who was hit by a trash truck in Denver.

The accident happened at approximately 6 a.m. at the intersection of South Dahlia Street and Evans Avenue.

The call came in that a man was trapped by a trash truck, but first responders found he had been run over and they could quickly treat him.

The man's injuries were described as serious but not life threatening.

The man's name hasn't been released.
