1 Person Struck, Killed On E-470
ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a deadly accident that left one person dead on E-470.
State troopers said just before 8 p.m. Wednesday a pickup struck a pedestrian in the southbound lanes of E-470 near Quincy Avenue.
It is unknown why the person was in the lanes of traffic. The driver of the Toyota Tacoma stayed on scene.
Southbound lanes of E-470 were expected to be closed for several hours during the accident investigation and cleanup.
The identity of the deceased has not been released.
