Intruder Killed In 'Make My Day' Case Was 52-Year-Old Man

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – The identity of an intruder who was shot and killed in a home invasion in Jefferson County has been released.

Authorities say Garry Liebreth, 52, crawled through a doggie door on Friday and was confronted by the homeowner. Police say the homeowner repeatedly told the man to leave. During a fight the homeowner shot the intruder twice.

The homeowner will not face any charges under Colorado's Make My Day Law.
