Snowboarder Killed In Collision With Tree At Keystone
SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A 26-year-old man from Silverthorne was killed while snowboarding at Keystone Ski Resort on Friday.
According to the Summit County coroner, Eric Haiar apparently lost control while snowboarding on Spring Dipper, an intermediate run, and collided with a tree.
"The death is due to blunt force trauma injuries sustained from the accident," the coroner said in a statement.
Haiar was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
