Denver Mayor Plans City's First 'Office Of Behavioral Health'
DENVER (CBS4)- Denver Mayor Michael Hancock announced plans on Wednesday for the city's first-ever Office of Behavioral Health.
The new office will address mental health and substance abuse issues within the community.
"It is Denver's goal to improve the well being of our community and supporting those who need our help the most," said Hancock.
Former Denver Auditor Don Mares will lead the new project.
They will analyze the current issues and coordinate strategies to develop solutions.
