Bartmess' remains were found on Nov. 21 near Red Feather Lakes Road in a remote part of Larimer County, northwest of Fort Collins.

She was likely killed more than eight weeks ago, according to the sheriff's department. Authorities haven't disclosed how Bartmess died.

"With five separate defendants, this case has been a complicated puzzle for investigators to piece together. We remain committed to uncovering every piece that is available to us so that we can have the clearest picture possible about what happened to Andrea. If someone has a piece of information that will help ensure justice for Andrea, we need to hear from them," Sheriff Justin Smith said Tuesday.

The four others arrested in connection with Bartmess' kidnapping and murder are Michael Bensen, 45, Patrick Hannon, 51, Jose Rosario, 35, and Kimberly Guinn, 32.
