None Hurt In House Fire In Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A remodeling project sparked a house fire in Jefferson County on Friday.

There is minor damage to the home.

The fire started in the fireplace and spread to the attic of the home on South Taft Street, firefighters said.

A neighbor saw the fire and ran next door to tell the workers inside that the home was burning.

The home's owner is out of town.
