DENVER (CBS4) - A roller-skating graffiti artist is tagging businesses and buildings near Evans Avenue and Zuni Street.

The suspect is wanted for criminal mischief and graffiti at several locations including the area near Evans and Zuni.

Police described him as a light-skinned black male with a medium afro in his early 20s on roller skates. He's been caught on surveillance cameras.

"It's kind of funny, but not so much when you're a business owner and you have that defacement of your property," said Richard Marti, who owns a tinting company in a strip mall near the area.

The front of his business was spray-painted recently. He had the graffiti removed, but police said it's likely the tagger will return.

Marti says there is a police presence in the neighborhood that usually keep criminals away.

"It was kind of surprising because District 4 is right up the street and they do a really good job of controlling crime in this area," he said.

Police believe he is a prolific tagger wanted for leaving his mark on several buildings across Denver.

Anyone with information regarding these crimes or recognizes the suspect in the picture is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You can text to CRIMES (274637) then title DMCS and enter your message or send an e-mail to metro-denvercrimestoppers.com. If the information you provide leads to the arrest and charging of a wanted individual, you can receive a cash reward up to $2,000.
