DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery near University of Denver's campus.
Students were urged to stay inside Monday night after a report of an armed robbery at the corner of High and Asbury streets. A woman told police she had just gotten off the light rail when two men robbed her at a gunpoint.
It was the sixth armed robbery reported on or near DU's campus in just the last month. Denver police believe they are connected. The school lists only about 11 robberies in the past decade.
One of the suspects in Monday night's robbery was described as an approximately 5-foot-10 Hispanic man who was carrying a black gun.
The second suspect was described only as 6 feet tall.
