Driver Killed, Another Hurt In Crash On Vasquez Boulevard

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - One person is dead and another was seriously injured in a head-on, two-car crash in Commerce City Friday morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of Vasquez Boulevard and 60th Avenue.

Northbound Vasquez Boulevard was closed from Interstate 270 to 60th after the crash, and the ramp from westbound Interstate 270 onto Vasquez was also closed.

Authorities said they suspect drugs and alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
