WB I-70 Closed In 2 Places Near Vail

VAIL, Colo. (CBS4)- Winter driving conditions are being blamed for accidents that have closed Interstate 70 in two places on Thursday afternoon.

Accidents have closed westbound I-70 at mile marker 173 near West Vail. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and once it reopens, to use caution with winter driving conditions.

Westbound I-70 was also closed at mile marker 163 in Edwards for a jackknifed semi.
