Mother Describes 'Sing Jesse' Explicit Pics, Texts Sent To 13-Year-Old Daughter

LEADVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) - Leadville police are looking for information about a male on Facebook who is sending inappropriate messages and photos to underage girls. One Leadville woman believes her daughter was a target.

The man is believed to be 18 or older and he's known as Sing Jesse.

A mother contacted the Leadville Police Department after seeing a nude photo and one of the sexually explicit messages that was sent to her 13-year-old daughter.

Natashia Drake is concerned about the boy preying on young girls.

"My daughter is 13 years old and she's still a baby to me, of course," said Drake.

Drake says her daughter was on her cellphone and using the Facebook app when she looked at the screen and could not believe what she saw.

"There were nude pictures, both of her and him, separate of course," said Drake.

The pictures weren't the only form of communication coming from the boy.

"Messages were very sexual, very intent, it makes me sick," said Drake.

Officers believe Sing Jesse is in the Denver metro area and convincing underage girls to send nude photos of themselves.

Since the investigation started, Sing Jesse's Facebook page is no where to be found.

"His account on Facebook disappeared," said Drake.

Leadville Police Officer Daniel Hanson said the two met on an innocent sounding Facebook page, "The chat room, it's called 'Pretty, Cute or Funny' and she put a picture of her face and said, 'Am I cute?' and he wrote back and said, 'You're cute.'"

Drake says there's nothing cute or funny about the sexual tone of their ongoing exchange.

"She's really scared. I'm scared. My family is scared. My friends are scared. This is a horrible thing," said Drake.

As a result of this interaction, Drake's daughter is dealing with restricted privileges, "She doesn't get her phone and she's not allowed on any electronics right now."

She doesn't believe the suspect has her daughter's name, phone number or address.

Police in Leadville are in the process of getting a warrant and are asking Facebook to help with their investigation.
