Man Reported Missing After Broncos Game Found Safe

DENVER (CBS4) - A Kremmling man who was reported missing by friends after attending a Denver Broncos game last Thursday has been found safe, according to the Denver Police Department.

Family and friends of Paul Kitterman, 53, have been searching for him since Thursday night's matchup with the San Diego Chargers at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

According to Denver police, "Kitterman was located in Pueblo … he is unharmed."

Police went on to say that no foul play is suspected and all questions should be directed to the family.

Kitterman traveled to the game from Kremmling with his stepson Jarod Tonneson and some friends. At halftime Tonneson took a bathroom break and when he returned Kitterman was gone.

"Paul wasn't there," Tonneson told CBS4.

More than 70,000 fans were at the game, and Tonneson said they were in Section 230 in the south stands. The group had plans to meet outside gate 8 at the stadium. After it was clear Kitterman was gone, Tonneson began a search along with the couple they had traveled to the game with.

"We ended up driving around, through all the parking lots, all the nearby areas, stuff like that, to see if we could see him and just ... nothing," Tonneson said. "And we were there till 1:30."

Since then police and family members checked with local hospitals, jails and detox centers but there was no sign of Kitterman.

The circumstances that led to locating Kitterman haven't been released.
