Another Round Of Vehicle Break-Ins Investigated In Mead

MEAD, Colo. (CBS4) – The Weld County Sheriff's Office would like the public's help finding suspects in a series of vehicle break-ins that have occurred in the same subdivision in the town of Mead.

According to the sheriff's office, the latest break-ins occurred between midnight and 5 a.m. Tuesday in the Liberty Ranch subdivision.

"Approximately 20 vehicles were broken into and numerous items were taken. The most frequent types of personal items stolen include wallets; purses, car stereos, driver's licenses, computer laptops, cellphones, gym bags and tools," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The break-ins could be related to similar crimes that occurred in the same subdivision on Sept. 26.

Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 from Crime Stoppers.
