Man, Dogs Escape Fort Collins House Fire

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - One person escaped a house fire in Fort Collins Friday night that severely damaged the home.

Poudre Fire Authority crews arrived at the home in the 4600 block of Regency Drive shortly after 8 p.m. and found flames shooting through the roof, the fire department said.

The kitchen and the attic were on fire, the department said. A man in the house, along with three dogs, escaped.

The fire's cause is being investigated.
