Boulder Police Searching For Possible Assault Witnesses

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder are hoping witnesses to an incident that left a 64-year-old man injured will help their investigation and their search for suspects.

Police rushed to the 1900 block of Walnut Street about 4:35 a.m. on Wednesday on reports of a medical call.

Officers found the male victim outside. He was conscious and breathing and taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of serious head injuries.

Detectives are trying to figure out what happened and have not ruled out the man may have been a victim of assault.

Investigators would like to talk to anyone who may have been in the area or seen anything suspicious.
