Avalanche Send Connor Bleakley To Junior Team

DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado Avalanche shaved 16 players from its roster on Tuesday.

That included first-round draft pick Connor Bleakley, who needs more development time before rejoining the team.

Head coach Patrick Roy also wasn't pleased that Bleakley arrived in camp out of shape.

Bleakley was sent back to his junior team.
