Construction Workers Wanted For Colorado Building Boom

DENVER (CBS4)- There are a lot of job openings in Colorado's construction industry thanks to a building boom underway.

The state has launched a new website called Build Colorado. It lists all the construction job postings to help connect companies hiring with those looking for work.

Companies are hiring those with no experience. The jobs posted started at $15/hour.

Construction managers said the industry is a rewarding one.

"Some days you go home and realize you helped build this building and help build this bridge," said Jalisco International Inc. contractor Rich Ledezma.
