Boulder Marks Flood Anniversary With Forums

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Boulder is marking the anniversary of last September's floods with a scientific forum as well as a time for storytelling.

The Geological Society of America will co-host a Wednesday afternoon forum focusing on the science of disaster planning. In the evening, residents, activists and government workers are invited to share their personal experiences of how they responded to and recovered from the disaster.
