Former Police Chief Opens Marijuana Spoof Company

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4) - Former Police Chief Greg Morrison has opened Totally High Country Brownies, Inc. based in Grand Junction.

Company CEO Morrison retired last year after 37 years in Colorado law enforcement including serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Boulder, a Detective Sergeant in Lakewood, Assistant Police Chief in Breckenridge and as Police Chief in Silverthorne, Vail and Grand Junction.

"Totally High County Brownies are a major score as gifts for family, friends, clients and co-workers whether they are in-state or out of state," says Morrison in a recent release.

Morrison's endeavour is one that have cropped up since the signing of bills allowing for recreation retail stores to exist.

However, his store isn't like any other.

"Our brownies can be legally transported across state lines, carried through airport security checkpoints or shipped in the U.S. Mail."

The reason why is because Totally high County Brownies are a 100% cannabis-free spoof of Colorado's retail marijuana industry.

Now Morrison is crisscrossing Colorado recruiting gift shops to carry the brownies.
