Stabbing Suspect At Large, Longmont Community 'At Risk'

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Longmont have made an arrest in a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital.

Two suspects vandalized a 34-year-old man's car at 10:30 p.m. on Friday after a fight inside an apartment at Mountain View and Summer Street, according to police. When the victim confronted the two men he was beaten and stabbed.

Police are still looking for one of the suspects, who has been identified as Bradley Hofmeyer, 30.

The other suspect, James Kramer, is in custody. Kramer was arrested after being spotted inside a grocery store.

"We are concerned for our community safety. We feel they are at risk," said Longmont Police spokesman Jeff Satur. "(The suspect is) a risk in our community and we do have people out looking for (him) right now."

The victim was being treated for serious injuries and is expected to survived.
