The crash happened at approximately 11 a.m. and for more than 2 hours all the northbound lanes of the highway were shut down at 23rd, near Colfax Avenue. There were big backups in the southbound lanes as well due to curiosity slowing.

The highway fully reopened at 1:45 p.m.

A motorcycle rider was involved in the crash. Their motorcycle was lying on its side about 150 feet away from a car that was heavily damaged when it smashed into the guardrail. Another car may have been involved as well.

So far it's not clear how extensive the injuries are from the crash, but four people were hurt.
