DENVER (CBS4)– A Denver woman has been charged after allegedly causing serious bodily injury to her 3-year-old daughter.
Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged Jaime Johnson with child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.
The 3-year-old girl was brought into Children’s Hospital on Aug. 7 with bruises, puncture wounds, abrasions and other non-accidental trauma consistent with child abuse.
The charge alleges that the victim sustained these injuries while in Johnson’s care.
