Still No Sign Of Missing Aspen Woman In Eagle County

THOMASVILLE, Colo. (CBS4)- The search continues for an Aspen woman who was last seen on last Sunday when she left her campsite and never returned.

Dorothy Jenkins walked away from her campsite shortly after 2 p.m. on Aug. 17 in the Burnt Mountain area northeast of Thomasville in Eagle County.

Jenkins, 57, of Aspen was camping with a man who said that she didn't have any hiking gear or camping equipment with her. She was wearing a maroon tank top and khaki or light-colored shorts.

The Eagle County Sheriff's Office, Vail Mountain Rescue Group, Aspen Search and Rescue, Pitkin County Sheriff's Office and the Western Eagle County Search and Rescue group searched the area surrounding the campsite. No signs of Jenkins was found.
