Fort Collins Approves 5-Cent Fee For Disposable Grocery Bags

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – Next April shoppers in Fort Collins will start paying for disposable bags.

The city council approved the 5-cent fee but is requiring retailers to tell customers about the fee before they charge it.

The city will also try to cut down on the disposable bags it uses.
