Boulder County Massage Therapist Accused Of Sexual Assault

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators say a massage therapist in Boulder Canyon sexually assaulted at least one client and detectives believe more women may have been victimized.

According to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Gregory Mingchiu Ching, 54, was arrested on July 30 and charged with sexual assault.

Ching is a massage therapist who also owns a greenhouse. The charges allege he lured a woman who was injured to his massage studio at his home and sexually assaulted her.

Authorities said the victim met Ching through Facebook.

"He asked for her assistance with a booth at the fair where he was to sell greenhouse construction material," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "He indicated he would be unable to pay her, but offered her an aquatic massage in trade."

The woman told deputies she was sexually assaulted during the massage.

"He actually took her towards the middle of the pool. She was in fear that she was going to drown," Don Dillard with the Boulder County Sheriff's Department said. "So she just kind of didn't fight."

Ching's home is in the mountains southwest of Boulder.

"There's no one around to hear you even if you were to scream," Dillard said.

Dillard said he strongly believes there are other victims.
