Woman Killed In Head-On Collision On I-70 In Denver
DENVER (CBS4) - A deadly car crash shut down Interstate 70 in Denver for several hours Saturday morning.
The driver of a white Dodge Neon lost control, crossed the center median and collided head on with a pickup.
The 20-year-old woman driving the Neon was killed. The pickup driver was treated for minor injuries.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. just east of West Colfax Avenue. Westbound lanes reopened 4 1/2 hours later.
Investigators do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
