Lt. Gary Toldness says one man was shot in the hip and the other was shot in the chest. One man was released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon. The other remains hospitalized but is expected to recover.

Police are searching for three white men last seen in a white or silver 4-door sedan. The first suspect is described as wearing a black jersey. The second suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and the third suspect was wearing a white T-shirt.

Police officers from several jurisdictions helped out police in Federal Heights after the call came in.

"Our officers were tied up in another disturbance so we called for mutual aid. Adams County, Thornton and I think Westminster came," said Toldness.

Police believe there may be cell phone video of the fight and shooting and hope to find that witness with that evidence.

Investigators continue to interview witnesses to track down the suspects.
