The driver drove away from that crash and continued north on I-225 to the north of Parker Road and again rear-ended another car, pushing it into two more cars.

The driver of the Jeep and one other person involved in the crashes were rushed to the hospital. There are no serious injuries.

Investigators said a possible medical issue and drug intoxication are suspected. The driver of the Jeep has not been identified.

The area where the crashes occurred is a construction zone with only two lanes, Jersey barriers and no shoulders. The crashes caused a serious traffic jam on northbound I-225.
