Robin Williams Fans Flock To Boulder Home Featured In ‘Mork & Mindy’
BOULDER Colo. (CBS4) – A memorial is growing outside of the Boulder home used in the sitcom “Mork & Mindy” following the death of actor and comedian Robin Williams.
Williams was found dead at his California home on Monday. The preliminary investigation shows the cause of death to be suicide due to asphyxia, according to authorities.
“Mork & Mindy” gave Williams his first big break and set the stage for all of his great work to come. Williams played Mork from Ork, a space alien, in the 1970s TV show with actress Pam Dauber, who played Mindy.
The 130-year-old Boulder home is located on Pine Street. Among those who went to the memorial at the home was U.S. Rep. Jared Polis dressed in a Mork costume. He said Williams helped put Boulder on the map.
