Police Impersonation Incident Reported In Loveland

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Loveland are looking for witnesses after a police impersonator stopped a woman early Sunday morning.

The incident happened just after midnight at McWhinney Boulevard and Grays Peak Drive. The suspect was driving an SUV with a red light in front.

Police say that anyone who is being pulled over should drive to a well-lit area. Call 911 if it's not certain the person is really an officer. Also ask to see police credentials.
