Women's USA Olympic Cycling Team Goes Indoor Skydiving

DENVER (CBS4) – The female USA Olympic Cycling team did some unorthodox training on Saturday as they took to the air instead of pedaling on the pavement.

The team held and indoor training session at iFLY Denver, and indoor skydiving wind tunnel near Park Meadows Mall.

"The vision of USA Cycling is to make the United States of America the most successful country in the world of competitive cycling and to achieve sustained success in international cycling competition and grow competitive cycling in America while delivering an exceptional customer experience," USA Olympic Cycling said in a statement.

The team is in the process of replacing three silver medalists who retired after the last Olympics and used the indoor skydiving as a team building training event to determine who the true team leaders are.
