Rain Doesn't Keep Broncos Fans From Watching Practice

DENVER (CBS4) - All the rain and cloud cover didn't keep fans away from a chance to watch the Denver Broncos practice at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

It's more proof demonstrating the loyalty of Broncos fans that they're not deterred by all the rain just to watch the team practice.

Gates opened at 10 a.m., and since then a steady stream of fans wearing orange and blue were entering the stadium.

The practice is one of the few people can actually watch because of construction happening at Dove Valley. For that reason many people said they had to take advantage of the chance to catch a practice -- and the rain was a non-factor.

Other incentives are admission and parking are free .

One family told CBS4 they have a history of seeing the Broncos practice and play in severe weather.

"We were here last year; my dad and my oldest and I braved it with tornado warnings all around," the fan said. "I think up north they had some tornado sightings. The players kept coming out, so we just decided to stay with them."

"I don't really care that it's raining," another young fan said. "I'm just excited to be here."

Fans will get one more chance to see the Broncos practice this Saturday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
