2 Breckenridge Officers Investigated For Killing A Bear
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Two Breckenridge police officers are being investigated by their own department for killing a bear.
The incident happened two weeks ago. The officers were near a park when they saw what they believed to be an injured bear. It was shot in the shoulder and died soon after in a ravine.
The Breckenridge Police Department says officers are allowed to euthanize injured animals under certain conditions.
