Day Of Service Online Registration Open
DENVER (CBS4) Xcel Energy is signing up people for its Day of Service. On Saturday, September 6th, Xcel employees will join community members to work on volunteer projects all over the Front Range.
This year there are nearly 60 projects to choose from, and registration is open on the Day of Service website.

Day of Service will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. It's a great opportunity to give back to the community.
"It's very fun… very exciting. You're meeting new people, working along someone you just met. It's a great feeling because you're doing something for the community," said Jon Christian, a service project leader and 31-year employee for Xcel Energy.
Some projects are filling up fast, so make sure you log on soon to get the project near you, and after you register, check your email for a confirmation letter.
