State-Wide Campaign Launched To Encourage Drivers To Buckle Up

DENVER (CBS4) – The Colorado Department of Transportation and the Colorado State Patrol launched a state-wide campaign encouraging drivers to buckle up.

Last year law enforcement in Colorado wrote more than 2,300 tickets to people not buckled up.

This week law enforcement agencies will increase nighttime patrols because studies show more people fail to use seat belts at night than during the day.
