Beauty School Offers $5 Haircuts To Benefit Theater Shooting Victims

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - People in Aurora came together to support the victims of the century theater shooting.

Sunday marked 2 years since 12 people were killed in the attack. Since then the nonprofit group called "Aurora Rise" has been raising money for those impacted by the violence.

On Monday the group hosted a fundraiser at the Empire Beauty School offering $5 haircuts.

The organization is grateful to the community for the continued support.

"They realize that there are still people hurting, there are still people in need of help, and we're one small organization, and with all the businesses that help us, it means a lot." Tim Moret with the Aurora Rise Foundation said.
