Rockies Pitcher Chatwood To Undergo Tommy John Surgery

DENVER (CBS4) — Colorado Rockies right-hander pitcher Tyler Chatwood hasn't played since April. He has been dealing with elbow problems, and now he is scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery.

CBS4 Sports reports he will be out for the rest of this season and probably all of next season.

The 24-year-old Chatwood made four starts for the Rockies this season, going 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA. He opened the season on the DL with a strained left hamstring.

Chatwood started 20 games last season, going 8-5 with a 3.15 ERA.
