Rappelling For Charity Expected To Raise $300,000

DENVER (CBS4) - More than 100 people rappelled down 32 stories at two Denver skyscrapers on Friday to raise money for a cancer charity.

The "Over The Edge" event at 16th Street and Broadway expected to raise more than $300,000 for the Cancer League of Colorado. Last year's event raised $250,000. Participants raised money through pledges.

The rappelling will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
