Man Charged In 'Revenge Porn' Case In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - A man accused of stalking a former girlfriend, vandalizing her vehicle and posting intimate pictures of her on the Internet has been formally charged.

According to Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney's office, Michael Clasen, 25, has been charged with two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of stalking, posting an image for harassment, and possession of an illegal weapon.

"The charges allege that Clasen began stalking the 19-year-old victim the last week of June after she ended their relationship, and that he caused damage to both her vehicle and her mother's vehicle," Kimbrough said in a statement. "The charges further allege that on July 1 he posted intimate pictures of the victim on the Internet, in violation of a new state law."

Clasen remains in police custody on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
