Roof Collapses In Greenwood Village

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4)– Two people escaped a home where roof collapsed on Wednesday afternoon.

The roof collapsed on a home located south of Orchard in Greenwood Village and firefighters with South Metro Fire and Rescue rushed to the scene.

They were able to rescue two people who were inside. They escaped with no injuries.

Copter4 flew over the home where the roof was being repaired. There was a lot of roofing material sitting on the roof.

What caused the roof collapse is being investigated.
