Human Remains Found In Vail Could Date Back To 1800s

VAIL, Colo. (CBS4)- Human remains found at a construction site in Vail that put the project on hold may date back to the 1800s.

Investigators believe the remains are from a white male and that they may have been there for more than a century.

A skull was discovered on June 26 in a pile of dirt from the Lionshead construction site in Vail.

Since then, crews have 70 percent of the skeletal remains.

Investigators are still trying to figure out the age of the bones, who they belong to and how he died.
