The tractor weighed about four times the bridge's weight limit when the rancher tried to drive it across. That's when the tractor broke through the wooden planks and was hanging by its front tires. jody holmes wide shot tractor upright craig6

The bridge is in the Browns Park Wildlife Refuge and gives access to recreation areas. It's rated for about three tons while the tractor actually weighs between 10 and 13 tons.
