Tom Wesselmann Artwork Installed At Denver Art Museum

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Art Museum on Tuesday installed larger-than-life artwork from painter Tom Wesselmann that includes six pieces of brightly colored sculptural work measuring more than 25 feet in length.

The exhibit is called Beyond Pop Art and features approximately 100 pieces. It will be on view from July 13 to September 14.

Wesselmann, who died in 2004, was one of the leading figures of American pop art. The museum's exhibition details Wesselmann's early abstract collages, his well-known series called Great American Nudes and his cut-steel drawings.
