40th Avenue Reopens After 2-Year Closure For FasTracks Construction

DENVER (CBS4) – Monday brought an end to the most significant traffic impact of the Regional Transportation District’s East Rail line project.

On Monday morning 40th Avenue reopened between Blake and York streets. It was closed for nearly 2 years.

Crews installed a large underground drainage culvert and added sidewalks.

The East Rail line will run to and from Denver International Airport starting some time in 2016.
