WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – Thousands of people finished their 2-day ride for the annual Bike MS.
CBS4 is a proud sponsor of the event. The ride kicked off in Westminster on Saturday and wrapped up Sunday at Front Range Community College.
The event is organized by the National MS Society and raises money for those living with multiple sclerosis, a disease that affects the body’s central nervous system.

“A lot of us affected are affected in many different ways … put 10 of us in a room and we all experience different things,” Lisa Melies said. “The support is awesome. The MS Society is wonderful — the volunteers — we couldn’t do this without all the volunteers.”
The fundraising goal for this year’s ride was $3.7 million.
