Police Search For Sex Assault Suspect, Release Sketch

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver released a sketch of a suspect who attacked a woman and sexually assaulted her.

The attack happened Friday near W. Alameda Avenue and S. Wolff Street by Weir Gulch. The victim stopped the assault by kneeing her attacker in the right leg.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-foot tall, 120 to 125 pounds, 40 to 50 years old with a full beard and no mustache.

The suspect has a mole or bruise over his right eye and he has longer fingernails. The victim told police he has a chipped right front tooth and is missing teeth.

The suspect also has a teardrop tattoo on the outside portion of his left eye.

He was wearing a jacket or vest that was grayish black, with orange or blue color on it and black pants.
