Man Trapped, Killed By 4,000 Pounds Of Glass ID'd

AURORA, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 31-year-old man who died after he was pinned by 4,000 pounds of glass in two wooden crates at a window company in the Denver suburb of Aurora.

The Adams County Coroner's Office said Tuesday that Jason Lee Nolte was killed in Saturday's work-related accident.

Capt. Diane Lord of the Aurora Fire Department said Saturday the victim was helping unload the crates of glass at the business, but it's unclear if he was using equipment in the process. No one else was injured.

She says crews responded to a call at 8:35 a.m. Saturday and found the man trapped in a trailer. Rescuers helped extricate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
