Small Jeffco Wildfire Contained

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters contained a small wildfire burning southwest of Denver on Sunday afternoon.

The North Fork Fire Department said in a tweet that the Foxton Fire was approximately three acres at 3 p.m. and was contained an hour later. No structures are threatened.

Lightning caused the fire, which was located 200 yards uphill from Foxton Road and SW Platte River Road and south of Reynolds Park.
