Off-Duty Denver Cop Injured In Crash
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A suspected drunk driver injured an off-duty Denver police officer in a construction zone along Interstate 70 and Pena Boulevard.
At approximately 2 a.m. Friday, the suspect crashed into her unmarked police car from behind and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
It's unclear whether the officer, who was patrolling the area, was hired for off-duty work. She suffered minor injuries and is expected to be OK. The suspect's name hasn't been released.
